Diversity of platelet function and genetic polymorphism in clopidogrel-treated Chinese patients

B. Sun, Li, J., Dong, M., Yang, L., Wu, C., Zhu, L., and Cong, Y. L., Diversity of platelet function and genetic polymorphism in clopidogrel-treated Chinese patients, vol. 14, pp. 1434-1442, 2015.

We investigated the correlation between genetic polymorphisms of cytochrome P450 enzyme genes and the outcome of clopidogrel treatment in 118 coronary disease patients after percutaneous coronary intervention at the Chinese PLA General Hospital. Patients were divided into an ischemia event relapse group (IERG) and a non-IERG group (NIERG) based on relapse of ischemia events within 6 months after percutaneous coronary intervention. Ischemia occurred in 26.27% of patients.

Positive association between PPARD rs2016520 polymorphism and coronary heart disease in a Han Chinese population

H. D. Ye, Li, Y. R., Hong, Q. X., Zhou, A. N., Zhao, Q. L., Xu, L. M., Xu, M. Q., Xu, X. T., Tang, L. L., Dai, D. J., Jiang, D. J., Huang, Y., Wang, D. W., and Duan, S. W., Positive association between PPARD rs2016520 polymorphism and coronary heart disease in a Han Chinese population, vol. 14, pp. 6350-6359, 2015.

PPARD encodes peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta, which has been shown to play an important role in controlling lipid metabolism and atherosclerosis. In this case-control study, we explored the relationship between PPARD rs2016520 polymorphism and coronary heart disease (CHD) in a Han Chinese population. A total of 657 CHD cases and 640 controls were included in the association study. rs2016520 polymorphism genotyping was performed using the melting temperature-shift polymerase chain reaction method.

Relationship between the acylation-stimulating protein gene and coronary heart disease in the Xinjiang Uygur and Han populations of China

The association of the single nucleotide polymorphism 301T>C in the coding region of the acylation-stimulating protein (ASP) gene with coronary heart disease (CHD) was investigated in the Uygur (385 CHD patients and 483 control subjects) and Han (390 CHD patients and 439 control subjects) populations of China.

Association between rs1049673 polymorphism in CD36 and premature coronary heart disease

J. J. Che, Shao, Y. X., and Li, G. P., Association between rs1049673 polymorphism in CD36 and premature coronary heart disease, vol. 13, pp. 7708-7717, 2014.

Risk factors for premature coronary heart disease in China can be multiple; we investigated Chinese Han patients with premature coronary heart disease and a possible association with CD36 polymorphism at rs1049673, rs7755, and rs321159 sites. Outpatients were recruited according to chest X-ray coronary arteriography results; they were divided into two groups: early coronary artery lesions (premature coronary heart disease group, test group) and a control group.

Relationship between serum neopterin levels and coronary heart disease

Z. Y. Liu and Li, Y. D., Relationship between serum neopterin levels and coronary heart disease, vol. 12, pp. 4222-4229, 2013.

The relationship between serum neopterin levels and coronary heart disease (CHD) was investigated. Eighty-six CHD patients were divided into an acute myocardial infarction (AMI) group (N = 21), an unstable angina pectoris (UAP) group (N = 35), and a stable angina pectoris (SAP) group (N = 30), based on coronary angiography (CAG), 30 subjects without CHD served as the control group.
