This study aimed to investigate the function and signaling pathway of Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) in oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL)-induced up-regulated expressions of oxidized LDL receptor 1 (LOX-1), monocyte chemoattractant protein 1 (MCP-1), and vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1) in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). HUVECs were incubated with different oxLDL concentrations (0, 20, 40, 60, and 80 μg/mL) for 24 and 48 h.
